From the novel and movie “dear john” we heard, “when you’re struggling with something, look at all the people around you and realize that every single person you see is struggling with something, and to them, it’s just as hard as what you’re going through.
I’m pretty convinced that life can be seen as either a struggle or at least a mind bending adventure. And, that always makes me think of the quip, life is a journey, not a destination.
I have a few friends who are very impatient and always facing problems. They wake up daily to their struggles and not their unique undertakings and life lessons. That is such a waste. What if life was a destination and you knew too early when it was all over?
If your life was filled with wonder and discovery, your joy would be in the memories of the experiences, happy moments, exhilaration, the highs and lows. But, if your focus is on struggling, what will define you?
We hear everyday a story about someone who made the choice to live and not struggle even under the worst of circumstances. That is called finding peace in life and enjoying each moment.
